1. Driver (Grade III)

• No of vacancy: 01 [SC]
• Pay Scale: Rs. 14000 – 49000/- + GP Rs. 5200/-

2. Peon (Grade IV)

• No of vacancy: 08 [EWS-1, PWD-1 (OH), ST(H)-1, OBC-2, UR-2, Woman-1]
• Pay Scale: Rs. 12000 – 37500/- + GP Rs. 3900/-

Chief Engineer PHE Water Assam Recruitment 2021: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Driver: Applicant must read up to class 10th and must have a valid four wheeler Driving license (LMV) issued by the District Transport Authority Govt. of Assam.

Peon: Minimum Class 8th Passed

Age: Candidates should not be more than 40 years and less than 18 years of age on 1st January, 2021. (Candidate must be born on or before 01-01-2003 and on or after 01 -01-1981)

Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable as under:

(i) 05 (five) years to case of candidates belonging to SC, ST (P) & ST (H).
(ii) 03 (three) years in case of belonging to OBC/MOBC.
(iii) 02 (two) years for Ex-Serviceman candidates.
(iv) 10 (ten) years for PwD candidates

Other Criteria

a) Nationality:
(i) Candidates must be a permanent resident of Assam. As a domicile proof of the candidate, one of the documents viz., PRC/Voter ID card need to be enclosed along with the application.
(ii) He /She must have registered his/her name in any Employment Exchange of Assam and should have valid Employment Exchange card.
